CONTROL Resonant outfits: changing clothes and earning pieces

Change Dylan's appearance at a Wardrobe, marked by a jacket on the map. Clothing is cosmetic: choosing a different jacket does not replace a weapon upgrade or change its damage. An early Wardrobe is available in the Oldest House.

Equip a complete look

Open the Wardrobe and check Top Layer, Hair, Base Layer, Facial Hair, Accessories, and Body and Face. Select an unlocked piece in each category you want to change, then check the resulting appearance. A missing item may belong to a different slot; unlocking a top does not unlock matching accessories.

The Out of Uniform trophy asks for customization in every slot. Accessories are easy to overlook. Form Over Function instead counts 12 outfit items, so collecting pieces and equipping every category are separate tasks.

These are selected launch-guide rewards, not a complete inventory. The Varsity Jacket does not by itself prove that you saved everyone at the party; that optional outcome matters for a separate missable trophy. Read the trophy checklist before finishing that encounter.

For the hood, follow the Wilson investigation before choosing the final dialogue. The quest's evidence and peaceful resolution matter more than simply reaching its ending.

Vendors, challenges and promotional clothing

Reading Glasses are listed at the Downtown vendor for 2,000 Source, while the Bureau Cap is listed at Central for the same amount. SHUM challenge ranks award other pieces. Check the displayed reward and cost before spending; a quest reward does not require buying a duplicate from a vendor.

The AWE Mission Outfit belongs to Digital Deluxe. Hiss Corruption was advertised as a preorder reward. The time-limited Sierra campaign has its own Twitch Drops instructions. Those are different entitlement routes, and an old promotional listing does not guarantee that a new purchase still qualifies.

If a rewarded piece is missing, revisit the Wardrobe and inspect all six categories, then check that the quest actually completed or the external reward was claimed. The table reflects the September 2026 launch guides; later additions and changed challenge ranks need a fresh check.

Outfit disappears after fast travel

Remedy lists outfits becoming unequipped when using Fast Travel Doors as a known issue. Check the Wardrobe before assuming the item has been removed from your account. The support notice says a fix is planned; it does not identify a patch already delivered.
