Switch on six machines in Wear’Em & Wash’Em, leaving the rest off, to open the hidden room and collect the health upgrade.

In the Central laundromat, turn on machine 4 in the seven-machine row, machines 3 and 4 in the next row, machines 1 and 6 in the third row, and machine 1 in the final row. Leave every other machine off. The back wall opens when the pattern is correct.
Stand facing the corkboard near the back of Wear'Em & Wash'Em. Turn left: the uninterrupted row of seven machines corresponds to the first line of the note. Count across each row while facing its machines, rather than keeping one fixed left/right direction as you walk around the room.
| Row on the note | Machines that should be on |
|---|---|
| 1 — the uninterrupted seven-machine wall | 4 |
| 2 — the six machines facing that wall | 3 and 4 |
| 3 — back-to-back with row 2 | 1 and 6 |
| 4 | None |
| 5 | None |
| 6 | None |
| 7 — six machines against the wall toward the shop front | 1 |
The first row's pattern is 0001000: one active machine in the middle. Machine lights show whether a unit is on. The short video demonstration helps identify the physical rows if the note's orientation is confusing.
Recheck the off positions, especially the last wall. The solution specifies the complete state of the room, not just which six buttons to press: a machine you switched on earlier still needs to be turned off if it is outside the pattern.
Once the wall slides away, descend into the hidden area and open the reward container for a health upgrade; there are also documents to inspect. This is a room puzzle, so no purchase or separate quest item is required by the cited solution.
