When The Artist rises into the air, ride the lifting pavement and strike its head to interrupt the airborne attack. On the ground, close the distance after its projectiles and wait for its melee sequence to finish before attacking again. The fight appears at the end of Orientation.

Ground phase: keep a route back in

The Artist takes damage from close-range melee hits to its head. When it gathers stones, either float above the danger while staying near the forehead or disengage and dodge. The safer option depends on whether you can maintain your position without getting clipped.

Its close-range weapons swing in a sequence of two or three attacks. Do not immediately rush back after the first dodge; watch for the sequence to end. If the boss slides away, expect thrown street objects as you close the gap. Keep moving rather than standing at range with no way to damage it.

Air phase: move upward

Look for pavement lifting with the boss. Use the raised pieces to get within melee range and attack before the aerial sequence develops. Successfully reaching the head cancels that phase and gives you another damage opportunity.

After it falls back down, return to the ground pattern. The health meter has thresholds that produce health pickups as you progress, so look for those opportunities rather than assuming you must survive the entire encounter on the opening health bar. Finish the fight when its Falter bar opens the final interaction.

The reward choice

Victory opens a choice of Barrage, Volatile Anomaly or Shield. Shield is a defensive option; the others provide different offensive tools. Read the ability guide before selecting, because changing an initial mutually exclusive choice later uses a Reset Item.

The combat advice above is based on the cited launch guide. It does not assume a later-game finisher or a power you cannot yet have. If repeated attempts are becoming a barrier, inspect Assist Mode rather than searching for an unverified boss skip.
